What We Do

Bathroom Renovations in Bendigo

One team for the whole renovation — no chasing separate trades and no gaps where nobody turns up.

Complete Bathroom Renovations

Full strip-out to final silicone — waterproofing, tiling, plumbing, electrical and fit-off, all run by one team on one timeline.

Ensuite Renovations

Tight, awkward ensuites planned properly so the door still swings, the shower is usable and nothing feels crammed in.

Small Bathroom Renovations

Older Bendigo bathrooms reworked to feel bigger — wall-hung vanities, larger tile formats and better lighting, without moving walls.

Laundry Renovations

Laundries done at the same time as the bathroom, sharing trades and access so you only lose the room once.

Waterproofing

Compliant membrane systems to AS 3740, applied by us before tiling starts, with the certificate handed to you.

Wall & Floor Tiling

Large-format porcelain, feature walls and stone-look floors, set out on paper first so the cuts land where nobody looks.

Demolition & Strip-Out

Old bathroom removed cleanly, waste taken away, and the substrate prepped before anything new goes in.

Plumbing & Fit-Off

Licensed trades coordinated by us — relocating drains, new tapware, toilets and vanities all booked around one schedule.

Why Choose Us

The Bits That Decide the Finish

Anyone can make a bathroom look good on handover day. These are the things that decide whether it still looks right in ten years.

Levels and Falls Checked First

We check floor levels and falls before a single tile goes down, so water actually runs to the drain instead of pooling in the corner six months later.

Movement Assessed Before Prep

Timber floors, concrete slabs and old bearers all move differently. We assess the substrate first and match the prep to it, because otherwise the tiles crack regardless of how good the tiling is.

Waterproofing Photographed

We photograph the waterproofing before it's covered up, so you've got proof of what's actually under your tiles — not just a certificate with no evidence behind it.

Old Tile and Membrane Removed

Old tile and membrane get properly removed, not tiled over. A lot of the cheap jobs around Bendigo just go over the top, which is exactly why they crack in a couple of years.

Right Adhesive for the Substrate

Adhesive and screed are matched to the specific substrate rather than a one-size-fits-all approach — timber floors need flex, concrete needs a different prep entirely.

No Shortcuts on Drying Times

We wait out the drying times between stages. Rushing the prep to finish faster is the single biggest reason older Bendigo homes end up with cracked tiles down the track.

★★★★★

“After nearly two years of dealing with ongoing leaks in our upstairs bathroom, we were feeling extremely frustrated and unsure who to trust. We had already had several trades attempt to fix the issue, but the problem kept coming back and the whole experience had become very stressful.

Jye and the team at Bendigo Wall And Floor Tiling were professional, honest and reassuring from the very beginning. They took the time to properly assess the bathroom, explain what needed to be done, and then rebuilt it the right way from the ground up.”

Questions

Frequently Asked

Do you offer free bathroom design consultations? +

Yes. We come out at no cost and talk through your existing bathroom, layout, functionality, access, budget and what you want out of it. Because we are on the tools ourselves, we guide the design around the practical side too — waterproofing, plumbing, tiling and product selections.

How much does a bathroom renovation cost in Bendigo? +

It depends on the size of the room, the products you choose and how much work the space needs. A straightforward refresh sits well below a full rebuild with relocated plumbing. Every quote is written, fixed and itemised, so you know exactly what to expect before work begins.

How long does a bathroom renovation take? +

Most standard bathrooms take around three to four weeks, depending on scope, drying times, tiling detail, custom shower screen lead times and product availability. Because we run the trades ourselves, the sequence is planned before we start.

Can you help with a small bathroom design? +

Absolutely. A lot of older Bendigo bathrooms are compact, and there is plenty you can do without moving walls — wall-hung vanities, larger tile formats, clever storage and better lighting all make a small room feel bigger.

Do you also supply and install bathroom products? +

We deliver the complete renovation — demolition, preparation, waterproofing, tiling, trade coordination and final fit-off. We can help with product selections and supply where required, or work with items you have already bought, provided they suit the job and are confirmed before installation.

What brands do you work with? +

We are not tied to a single supplier. We work with a range of trusted suppliers and guide you toward fixtures, fittings and finishes that suit the design and the budget — and, just as importantly, that can be installed correctly and perform over time.

Can I customise my bathroom design? +

Yes. Every job is tailored to your preferences, the space you have and your budget. Colours, finishes, fixtures, storage and layout are all yours to choose — we make sure the choices work together and can actually be built.

Do you handle all the trades, or do I need to book them? +

We handle all of it — demolition, waterproofing, tiling, plumbing, electrical and fit-off. You deal with one team and one schedule instead of chasing five different trades and hoping they turn up in the right order.

Is the waterproofing certified? +

Yes. Every wet area is waterproofed to AS 3740 before a tile goes on, and you receive the certificate. We photograph the membrane before it is covered so you have proof of what sits under your tiles.

Do you travel outside Bendigo? +

Yes. Most of our work is in Bendigo and the immediate suburbs, but we regularly travel to Huntly, Marong, Axedale, Elmore, Heathcote, Inglewood and Castlemaine. Call and ask if you are further out.

How do I get started? +

Get in touch and we will arrange a time to come out, look at the space, measure up and talk through options. From there you get a written, itemised quote and a timeline, and we guide you through each stage from there.
